The Kite Runner by R.T.Arun kumar, Mechanical(Final Year)

No words to praise the author’s narration. He had pointed out nook and corner of all the surroundings and its characters where the scene bloomed. He jolted down all the possibilities to present the whole meaning of ‘hope’ and ‘love’. His way of narration will surely make the reader’s feels the scene’s nature without any burr. He perfectly presented how the Afghani’s suffered with that sorrowful life and how they planted the plant of hope for peace will all sunrise. His well versed knowledge on the language can be easily spotted from prologue to epilogue of his story.

I Too Had a Love Story by R.T.Arun kumar, Mechanical(Final Year)

A person without a spark of love is just like a stone (specifically) in a vast Sahara desert. It’s too hard to find it(him), but a question may arise ‘Did any human exist without love?’. In this book the author sketches the experience he had in his life with a lovely girl. And with that, he answers the previous question with a big no. He wrote the verses, which will just take you to the place where he was so joyful with his girl and also where he felt so lonely when he misses her. The author addresses the readers from his view about his feelings that he had, most probably we all would have come across in our life. The author throws the light on pure love which made his life pure, to showcase its glimpse for readers, romantically.

Who Moved My Cheese? by A.Gnana Vignesh, Mechanical (Final Year)

“Who loved my cheese?” by Spencer Johnson is a wonderful book which deals about changes and some adopts to it and some doesn’t .As soon as I finished reading this I thought  this would help us deal with the relentless changes we face from being on changing terms to developing new markets. This book is a simple, understandable road map for us to use as we deal with our own individual circumstances around change. Dr. Johnson’s enticing images and languages gives a fundamentally sound and memorable way of managing change his unique insights and storytelling makes this a rare book that can be read and understood quickly by everyone who wants to do well in these changing times. This wonderful book is an asset to any person or group that applies its lessons. This book shows an amazing way to deal with change in our book and in our life I personally recommend this book to those who struggle to adapt changes in their life. Especially I liked the line “Adapt to change faster, for if you do not adapt in time you might as well not adapt at all “old beliefs do not lead you to cheese.

I Too Had a Love Story by Dr.S.K.Chitra Lakshmi, HOD, English Dept

A love story of the kind that every young person goes through- except for the climax.

A story that inevitably takes Erich Segal’s ‘love story ‘This one does not touch the heart like Segal’s. However, every nuance of falling in love and the love interludes, are so much part of one’s first love. These are the technicalities that one agrees with totality in the process of ‘falling in love’
One read and no more unless one is right now experiencing the heart gripping, emotional ‘in love ‘ experience.
