GCE Book Club pre-empts the responsibility of developing Reading and Writing competencies in English language among the students through books. In recent years, recruitment through campus interview has shown an acute decrease due to lack of communication skills and basic English knowledge. In order to alleviate this language barrier, We are equipped with numerous books of different genres to cater to the needs of the students.
Following steps are being put in to action to boost the Reading and Writing competencies.
To improve the Reading competency:
- Availability of books of various genres to the students for purpose of reading and analyzing.
To improve the Writing competency:
- Receiving a mandatory short review about the content of the book from the reader.
